Applications in the process industry

Electrical heaters are used in many systems in the process industry, in process plants, in the chemical and petrochemical industries and many others.

They are often for operation in potentially explosive areas. Explosion-proof heaters or heaters with ATEX approval are required for this.

Traditional typical applications are processes in which heating is only required for a short time, e.g. to start the system up. Further applications include those where existing sources of heat such as steam or thermal oil cannot provide the required temperatures.

What’s more, process heat is becoming increasingly electrified to reduce the CO2 footprint.

• Process heaters for liquid and gaseous media
• Lubricating oil heaters
• Combustion or fuel gas heaters for compressors
• Sealing gas heaters for compressors
• Thermal oil heaters
• Water heaters for emergency showers
• Heating instrumentation rooms and containers in the Ex area
