Information regarding Ex protection

ELMESS-Thermosystemtechnik is the expert for electrical heaters and heating systems for use in potentially explosive areas.
Our products have been developed, produced and approved in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU (“ATEX”). The IECEx scheme describes the route to the future of international standardisation for explosion-proof equipment.

We are taking this route and are having our products certified in accordance with the IECEx scheme. Further national approvals for China (CCC), India (CCOE) and other countries are held.

On-site Service and Commissioning

In order to guarantee that our heating systems operate reliably and safely in your system under real operating conditions, we offer on-site commissioning by our qualified staff. We are also happy to help you with inspecting the heaters that you are using.

Repairs

ELMESS products are synonymous with reliability and a long service life. This is proven by the fact that many of our devices have been in operation for decades. However, occasional repairs are still required. We will carry these out for you in our factory. Thanks to continuous documentation, spare parts or replacement devices can be delivered at any time.

As the health of our employees is important to us, we request that you clean all contamination and deposits off the device before returning it to us, as well as filling in the  Declaration of no objection and sending it to us.
