Electrical flow heaters

ELMESS flow heaters are used for heating liquids and gaseous media. They are manufactured as an explosion-proof design (ATEX, IECEx, etc.) or a high quality industrial design according to the customer’s specifications.


ELMESS offers electrical flow heaters from 0.5kW to several MW and we also have solutions for high temperature applications of up to 1000°C.

  • Water heating (industrial heating systems)
  • Air heaters (compressed air, combustion air, drying technology)

The materials are selected based on the operating and ambient conditions, as well as the customer specifications.

All devices are designed and manufactured based on the customer’s individual requirements.

Design codes and inspection

Design, production and inspection in accordance with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU), ASME code or other international regulations

Design in accordance with AD2000, ASME or other regulations
Acceptance: Factory acceptance, TÜV, LR, RINA, SELO or other companies, individual acceptance by classification companies such as DNV, BV, LR, ABS, GLC etc.,
Design in accordance with the ASME code with or without U-Stamp

Ex equipment is placed on the market with an EC type approval certificate (in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU).
The complete documentation including all certificates is included with the delivery.
